Basic Function:

Actively seeks to increase sales volume servicing existing accounts; growing sales at existing accounts, and identifying new accounts in a highly competitive environment servicing the industrial, commercial and food industries rigid packaging needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic account management, from planning to implementation
  • Proactively manages inside sales customer base
  • Understands customer’s business and creates plans, pricing and strategies to fill the marketplace
  • Fields new business inquiries, determine the opportunities and handles accordingly
  • Prospects new business
  • Understands competitor’s products, processes and capabilities
  • Consults and adds value as a resource to the customer; bring forward customer opportunities versus responding to customer’s needs
  • Team player who can help the sales organization achieve overall results

Job Requirements

  • 4 year degree or relevant experience
  • 2+ years experience in sales or related background
  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Ability to develop comprehensive understanding of financial and business plans
  • Ability to develop value selling skills
  • Strategic thought processes
  • Ability to develop strong negotiating skills
  • Thorough follow up and record keeping skills
